The noha “Ya Zahra (sa)” is a unique and historic collaboration between Syed Mesum Abbas, a renowned Urdu nohakhwan, and Mulla Hussain Faisal, a respected Iraqi radood based in Bahrain.

For the first time, an Urdu kalam has been recited fully in an Iraqi andaaz, bringing together two powerful traditions of aza:

Urdu language × Iraqi style of recitation

Recorded entirely in Bahrain/USA, this kalam carries the depth of Iraqi recitation and the emotional power of Urdu poetry, combining them into one heartfelt expression of the grief of Bibi Fatima-tuz-Zahra (sa).

This noha reflects a simple truth:
